Throughout history, focusing on more recent history, human beings have been searching for a better way to store audio and video recordings, firstly in terms of quality, secondly in terms of size of storage. There have been many different forms of data storage that have taken on such roles, the transformation of audio-visual data recording has made a steep increase in the last few years. From Vinyl to CDs and from VHS Tapes to DVDs, each serving its purpose and aided in the generation of the next platform of data storage.
